accord f22 in a 94 prelude ?need help

Default accord f22 in a 94 prelude ?need help

man i know this might be wrong forum but u accord guys should know ok here the thing i just got a 94 prelude si it has h23 .but it has had it .so .. i have a sohc (f22) accord motor .but its from a 91 and the 91 has a internal coil .the 92+ accord have external.also the harness has been cut so what i need to know is can i use a h23 wireing harness .and get a 92 distributor (for the external coil )or can i just use 91 distrbutor with a 91 wireing harness will that work ?will the 91 harness plug in to the 94 prelude harness at firewall ?

no, i think you need the actual matching parts from the 1991.

im pretty sure you need the f22 engine harness, but not positive . . . i dont know where you got the external coil idea from, all accords with f22s were internal (my 90 is, and my 94 is . . . ) the plug should plug into the firewall though

well my 92 accord lx had external coil like the prelude h23

thanks guys !! the h23 harness worked everthing pluged right in and i used the internal coil distributor but i had to leave the coil pluged in so engine light wouldn't come on car runs great
