Default Difference between USDM corners and JDM corners?

I was installing JDM headlights today and when i mounted the usdm corners I noticed they rub together alot and dont line up correctly, ive heard people with the same problem in the past, can anyone confirm JDM corners are ever so slightly different than usdm?

The corners are actually meant to rub like that, Honda designed them to have a close fit against the headlights so that when you stand back they look like all one piece. Rest assured the JDM corners do the same thing.

Yup , I don't know why they didn't make the usdm's like that cause the one piece looks so much cleaner.

nope! wrong!

USDM corners are different than the JDM ones. to get the to fit right you either need to bend the little bracket on the side of the headlights that the corner tab slides into , or use washers to make more space for the corner tab to slide into. also the US corners wont screw in properly on the upper mounting tab where the screw secures the corner to the headlight.

or just get JDM lights and bolt em up and go :D

hahaha, 7 months later.

i got a question. i got some jdm eg stanley corners. and one side it fit right but the other side there is a quite a big gap btw bumper and the corner light i can slide my finger btw. is that possible that i might have one from a ferrio or there is no way that a ferrio can be mounted cause they both lined up perfectly and slided in the clip and screw holes.
