Electrical problem on 92 gen4 lude SI.... help

Electrical problem on 92 gen4 lude SI.... help
I've never seen this happen before. This is what happened.
I just got back from 70 mile trip and when I got home I pulled my car into a parking spot. As I turned off the engine and got out of the car, I saw hazard lights blinking all of the sudden. Checked the switch to see if I accidently pressed it or not. It wasn't... also, engine won't start. At that point, I thought it could be a battery, but my Alpine HU was working properly without any sign of dead battery. Lights were also working properly.
What could be the source of problem? could it be a defective alternator? after a few minutes, engine started as usual and I could drive it without any problem. I just don't want this happen again especially at night in NNJ areas.
Any idea why this is happening? Thanks in advance guys...
