ok fine 190+ hp. is that better for you? 200 seemed like a nice round number i could shoot for.

its simple for the ctr ... a hytech header, toda spec b cams, aem ems and some headwork, maybe even mill off 15-20 thous off the head.
years ago I popped high 180s @ wheels on a customer's b16a with ctr pistons ... top end died becuase the stock CX fuel pump was dying on the top end ... lost a good 15-20psi fuel pressure on top end. I did use a stock GSR head and milled about 15 thous.
I've always wanted an original ctr motor, tired of building ls and gsr blocks with ctr pistons ...
don't sleep on those motors.

ok so how much more power does a hytech make over say a jdm itr header? for the price difference (roughly 600) is it really worth it?
heres what i was thinking s2s2's w/ full valvetrain, hondata, jdm itr header, skunk IM and tb, and some headwork.

I've seen as much as 15-20 more in Torque in various parts of the curve with a HyTech and high compression 1.8 liter ... never tested it on a 1.6 liter. I don;t remember peak vs. peak HP comparison ... maybe 8-10 at the peak, can;t remember
As for bolt on parts, you're going about it all wrong, here's my opinion:
- send stock Type R manifold to Endyn
- send the CTR head to get ported at Endyn and they'll match your manifold
- get the Endyn/HyTech econo header
- get a set of the Endyn bumstix camshafts and a pair of camgears
- get an AEM EMS
- assemble and go on the dyno and tune.
If that doesnt get you 200 at the wheels then nothing else will.
