wanted to do some brake mods along with my swap,need to know if 98 HXs came with ABS.some of th ekits im looking at require this when converting from drum to disc

well, i'm not sure if it came standard, but if it was an option, you should be able to look under the hood and see it. and what kit are you lookin at? You to switch to rear discs, you can just use rear disc setup from any teg/civic that has rear disc brakes.... much cheaper route

NOPE! Nobodies EVER done one on here.

It's really easy. I would suggest you ditch the ABS though. Find the rear discs off a 99-00 Si or 93-01 teg. I could give you many suggestions on brakes but it is really personal preference. I will tell you about mine though.

I just installed brembo blanks in all 4 corners, with hawk performance pads. Goodridge braided stainless steal lines, ITR 1" MC and BB, and 99-00 Si prop valve. I broke them in for 200 miles. I can stop on a ******* needle point. I need to change my tires because I now lock up my brakes during hard braking under 20 mph. But it is night and day from my stock brakes.

But like I said, it's personal preference for what you use.
