Default koyo or oem radiator? any insight?

so as some of you may know my radiator blew a couple days ago

how i got offers for a OEM radiator and a koyo oem replacment radiator ..

which one is better? what does theloyo look like.. how do they perform

Please correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't Koyo manufactor some of the OEM radiators for Honda?

i have no idea.. but i have offfers for both..

one is 50 bucks for a oem one i have no idea how long its been on the car

and 75 for the koyo thats new and been on the car 3000 and now is off

koyo is all aluminum if i'm correct. while the oem is plastic endtanks. i would use the koyo for 25$ more.

usally its the plastic that cracks. might as well pay a little more for someting better

i though the koyo oem replacement look as if it was oem with theplastic top?

and btw on my oem radiator the plastic top part was what is fucked up about it

if its koyo, then it should be polished. it will be all polished. top bottom and fins.

go to http://www.radiatorbarn.com and get a 100% brand new radiator (aluminum) for 100bucks shipped.

I know the OEM one uses plastic endtanks and they have been known to crack along the seam. I would deffinatly go with the Koyo if the end tanks are metal and not plastic and only $25 more.

ok check this out.. he said the koyo makes the temp neddle half way instead of below half like normal..

is this bad for ur car? help before i buy i dont wnana buy something messed up

just go to radiator barn, when i got mine i compared it to my stock one and its twice as thick. LITERALLY its twice as thick.

if i got it from there i would have to get the ac one which comes out to about

130

also i would have to get the metal one.. i'm over this plastic ****

TWO ROW, HEAVY DUTY ALL METAL, Manual or Automatic Transmission

edit: just read some good reviews.. hmm.. maybe i should do this..

sorry for the questions but i'm noob when it comes to rhis..

ok i want to buy the AC version cus they have a AC and NON AC version..

lets say i buy the AC version but in the future i want to take out the AC will the raditator still be functional or would i have to replace?

and raditator barn is a damn good deal i think i will be going with it. thx redINTEGRAdriver

which one would u get? i was going go withy metal but my friend said its too heavy.. he also said dont get the bottom one cus its has plastic tanks and that i shouldj ust get a full allumnim one.. help!

i have a koyo all aluminum, if you take off your A/C its the same it just doesn't come with some tabs for the fan...they look almost the same. just get th a/c trust me.

koyo all allumnium is expensive as a **** i was thinking of all metal but julio told me it would be heavy as hell and i shoudlnt get it?

Hey bro dont go koyo, there are fitment issues.i had the same problem deciding either koyo,c&r or fluidyne, after my old oem radiator had a hole in it. I dont wanna go oem because i dont wanna worry about plastic crap.I chose the fluidyne all aluminum radiator. Check it out, i even bought a flexilite derale fans that mount perfectly on the ac side.

go buy your radiator and prostreetonline.com . they have some nice cheap radiators in stock
