Default Will this oil pan work????

Ok I need to replace a pan on a 89 teg,zc motor, will a pan off of a D16z6 work? I noticed the block in the teg said "d" on it...

First off, the 89 Teg motor is a D16a1, not a ZC. ZCs are stamped with a ZC on the block. We need to know what motor you exactly have before we can help you. - Darrell

Short answer, yes, any d series pans will interchange and the ZC is basically a D series.

That is false. The D16Z6 oil pan will not fit on a D16Y8, and both are D series motors. I have no idea whether a Z6 pan will fit on an A1. Sorry. I do know that the Z6 and A6 oil pans are pratically identical, if that helps.
