Default question about 92 si and 92 si 4ws

aight i got my h22a1 put in 92 prelude and a week later i got hit and i have found a 92 si 4ws and i am wondering what the differences are in weight and performance and i wont hool up the 4ws if i get it

if i remember correctly, the diff is ~80 lbs or so.... i would just leave it connected if i were you. most of the common problems with 4WS are easily solvable and it is a nice perk. If you decide you don't want it functioning just pull the fuse. If you're really that inclined though, I spose you could remove the whole system, but why bother... preludes are heavy enough regardless, 80 pounds isn't going to make your car haul ***

yeah i would hook it up but i have a jspec ecu for non 4ws and i dont want to buy a 4ws one

the 4ws system is run off its own seperate control unit.

The difference in weight is 66 lbs, and like he said 66 lbs wont make it haul *** but keep the 4ws it makes for 1 hell of an auto cross car. If you want to make a drag car buy the 4ws and sell it they go for some pretty impresive numbers being a 92 and all.
