Every time i start driving from first gear i have to really ease in the gas because if i dont and drive it normally the front of the of the car starts hopping like crazy but any other gear its fine, there is no wheel hop in fast speeds eighter. Im not sure what it is, it started shortly after i replaced my clutch in my 95 ex civic, could it be anything else other the clutch? just wondering if anyone else have had these symptoms.

 

Given that you can drive a stick w/o jerking I would go ahead and check your motor mounts.

Worn/just plain crappy tires can do it.
I had some bad wheel hop at times in my ol hatch when it had shitty tires.

 

my bro's gsr used to do that after he put in his exedy clutch.i'm not sure exactly what it is but it didnt have any more wheel hop or dash chatter after he put in his energy motor mount inserts.
