Default rust...

Hey guys, question for you...

Can anyone tell me what spots on our fifth generation are prone to rust, i dont think i have any of that to worry about but being my car has been not used for over a year i want to make sure i can check all the known trouble spots for rust. I'm about to buy the rust bullet kit for my car so i can get in there and whatever needs to get rust protected can get that and i can continue with my endeavors.

Thanks in Advance.

I heard the rear wheel well was a common spot for rust. Or somewhere around there.

is your car a 5th generation? See ive been told and have observed this in the 4th generation accords, but ive never seen it in the 5th generation wheel wells, but I am sure its something that the 5th generation can rock with.

Anyone check out the stuff im gonna use, ive never heard of it and actually found it through a banner on this site...anyone?

Some cat i know here in NJ, the guy was trying to sell me his 93 (i think) coupe with an H22 in it for 2999, i was like damn, a good deal, he put the motor in but got in an accident in the rear, needed a rear bumper, trunk lid, right tail-light and i think a new muffler from what he told me, the **** was a 5 speed, white in color, he had some nice white knock-off Axis6 wheels on it. I should have picked it up, but my new Mazda6 is white so i cant have 2 white cars.

Anyway, the moral of the story is that he had rust on his rear fenders/quarter panels and working for a machine and welding shop or some **** fixed the **** the right way, and i thought damn...should have bought that ****!

That's an easy question. Fifth gens (and Fourth) rust most on the rear quarter pannels and wheel wells. From what I've been told, Honda put something on the underside to reduce noise and it actually does more harm by holding water. The sixth gens fixed the problem.
