I bought a set of Ground Controls off a friend for a very reasonable price, however, we're unsure what vehicle they're from. I have a turbo del sol si and I would like to use these if possible. The numbers for the front spring are 0800.250.0450 and I guess this would mean the spring rate is 450. The numbers for the rear are 0800.250.0300 which I would also assume means 300. My question is what vehicle are these off and will they work fine for my application?TIA

I've found from searching that the 250 means 2.5 ID which is what I'm supposed to have. It also seems a lot of people are running 350 rear and 400 front, but mine are 300/450...okay to use?how will the ride be?The 800 means 8 inch spring, is that fine?

the spring rates look like they're custom.
whether it'll "work" or not will depend on what kind of shock you're using with them. the 450# might be a little stiff for most aftermarket shocks, they'll be fine for konis.
the ride will be somewhat harsh, depending on where you put the 450's. 450's in the rear will make the car more neutrally, however they'll make the ride a little harsher than putting the springs up front. 450's might also be a tad bit harsh for daily driving a del sol, so you may want to look to trade the 450's for say, some 350's or some 400's.
depends on what you want to do with the car really, as the setup for a daily driver vs. a a/x-track car would be totally different with regards to appropriate spring rates.

yeh, i thought those rates sounded a little funny. This is my daily driver and I'll probably track it 1/2 a dozen times this year. in short, these probably aren't a good choice for me? As far as shocks, i would probably use agx's or illuminas because theyre what fit my budget

you can probably find someone to swap springs with you. 450 lbs is a pretty popular spring rate.
in a del sol that's daily driven i'd probably run 300F/350R

just measured the perches, two of them are 3 inches long and the other two are 4 inches long, combined with the 8 inch springs, will these work or am I going to be slammed with them raised all the way up?
