Default Temperature Guage Crazy!

Ok, my temperature, fuel, and light display is acting up. I swapped in a D15B VTEC with DPFI and wired it up like the old D15B2 (Pre-OBD) and it runs. When I put it in reverse, the temp goes ALL the way up, and the fuel goes above full. When I shut it off it goes back down fuel goes back to half a tank which is how much is there. I swapped my old sending unit plug off my D15B2 to the VTEC motor, it is plugged in, I dont know I tried cleaning all the plugs, reset ECU. anyother ideas?

You need to recheck all your wiring, obviously. Something is crossed somewhere.

Dam. I have a D15B2 in my HF and I'm planning to swap the D15B VTEC also. I guess its something to do with the wiring.

Sounds like you have one of the reverse lights plugged into the coolant temp sensor wiring, and one into the fuel sender wire lol. i dont know how you did that but check it out.
