Ive been driving on a lca bolt with a broken head now for 6 months and it didnt really bother me becasue all i was putting on was springs. But, parts have been adding up and i now have tokicos and springs and a front and rear camber kit and rims that i refuse to put on when im riding as high as a 4x4. I have oem bushings and bolts and I was wondering if anyone knew a reliable major shops in the chicago land area that will do this job cheap for me becasue i dont have the tools needed.

 

borrow an angle grinder and grind off the stock coilover just above the bolt....i did the same and got it off fine

 

did you have to replace the whole bushing or did you only do the bolt because my bolt is stuck inside the bushing and ive hammered for hours and it wont come out

 

same thing happened to me. the bolt seized in the bushing. i needed to replace the whole bushing. i bought new lca's from SPC.

unnecessary? yes. cool? i think so.

 

How did you get your lca bushing in nick becasue i bought bushings and bolts

 

i just had new lca's to put in so i didnt need to get the bolt out of the bushing
