Default Thinking Turbo.. Have sum ?'s...

Alright... i have a 1990 Accord Ex 2dr 5spd w/ a 94 ex sohc vtec motor in it..... I kno my internals can hold up to about 14-15psi w/out any mods.. and i kno the eclipse exhaust manifold bolts up to the f22a's no prob.. just a lil drilling to line **** up... my ? is would a stock exhaust manifold bolt up piece be able to fit on the eclipse manifold w/ sum cutting and welding.. cuz if so thats what i wanna do, and if not i guess ill hafta work somthing else out.. and other people has told me id need a better fuel system.. but would the vafc work instead of buying the expensive *** stand alone systems???? Any help would be grealy appreciated, thanks!!!

14-15 psi on stock internals?

whoever told you that is probably laughing at you right now. and i believe you only have a 94 vtec head, not the whole motor. do some more reading b4 considering boost. turbo is time and money and nobody likes to waste either

The dsm manifolds have a "0 0 0 0" setup much like the f22a's, now the f22b's are a different story they are "0 00 0" so the dsm manifold WILL NOT work. The easiest way is to either make one yourself OR purchase a manifold that is already made for the f22b and trust me they make them.

If you are wanting to run that high of boost I would suggest a stand alone system like hondata or the like because it is much more stable versus a vafc + 450cc injectors which can be safe on 6-8psi setups. You can run high boost on the f series motors but honestly if your motor isn't built it isn't going to last long. I would do 8-10psi and call it a day in which you will still be getting around 210whp and 230wtq on stock internals and decent tuning.

Search the ever popular http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb for more car specific information and on h-t because this topic has been covered a lot.

psi doesn't kill your motor detonation and too much power kill your motor. 14-15 psi is going to make way less power on a t25 than on a gt40r. I'm running 12 psi on a t3 60 trim. Pretty sure accordfreak was running 14 psi on his car before it was totaled. Just tune with uberdata or some standalone.

Mysterious... yea im pretty sure its the whole f22b1 motor, i didnt want to just strao the head on my f22a4 for certain reasons.... and to all the others i was only planning on running 10psi, w/ the gsx turbo setup... and i already knew that the eclipse manifold doesnt work on the f22b1, my ? was use the stock f22b1 bolt up batter piece, then weld the eclipse manifold on.. but if that doesnt work ill find somthing else to make.... and about a stand alone fuel system.. do i realllly need 1 becuz my friend is running a gsx turbo setup as well on his crx.. and hes just got the vafc, and it runs just fine???.. and btw thx for the posts

From what I understand the main problem with the AFC hack is controlling ignition maps causing the timing to be advanced too much when you transition into boost.

dude you need to learn how to type and speak english...learn the names of the parts you are talking about...

what the hell is a batter piece...

it's a long shot on this one, but i'm assuming you are talking about the gsx t25 turbo flange...if i'm not mistaken, you are wanting to cut this piece off and weld it on to the oem f22b1 exhaust manifold???...this will only work if the primaries converge high enough on the manifold to still be able to get an oil return drain to go to the oil pan without the use of a pump...
