How do I change the power master brake cylinder to mechanical... Non power brakes in an EF SI 91 HAT
First off, ask your self; WHY?
The only reason that I can think about would be to mount dual cylinders and balance bar. This way one cylinder works the rear and the other works the front. The balance bar is how you proportion your braking.
You would have to fabricate a mounting bracket within the engine compartment for the cylinders and balance bar. That way the push rod from the pedal only requires one hole in the fire wall. (plus I don't know if the balance bar parts would fit inside the passenger compartment)
If you do a search on "Tilton" (may be Tillton) you should find information on Mac Tilton and the brake parts (along with clutch stuff) that he sells for race cars. The cylinders are used are Girling I believe.
