i'm in the process of rebuilding my jdm gsr motor , any other suggestions?

jdm gsr motor
putting in b16 pistons
new rod and main bearings

CTR intake cam
jdm 4-1 header
skunk2 intake mani
cai
2.5" exhaust piping
apexi exhaust
b16 tranny
12.5 lighten flywheel
kenji chipped p28 ecu

i was thinking of getting the chambers in the head polished and a 3 angle vavle job maybe.

does everything sound like the set up will be good?

 

Might want to think about replacing some seals while you're at it.

main seal
cam seals
just to name a few..

also you might consider head studs and rod bolts. Cheap insurance.

 

yeah..i'm getting arp bolts...forgot to mention that.

all gaskets will be replaced along with new thrust washers.
