As FCM stated, the Clifford should retain the programming after losing power.

If for some strange reason you do need to reprogram it, it is done with the valet switch.

To change crank time:

1. Open door
2. Turn ignition on and then back off
3. Press and hold the valet switch until the led flashes 3 times. Horn/siren should also chirp 3 times with the led.
4. Press the valet switch 5 times, and then press and hold the switch. LED should flash 5 times to confirm.
5. With the valet button held, pressing the unlock button on the remote will change the crank time between 0.8,1.0, 1.2,1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, and 4.0 seconds. Pressing the lock button will set crank time to 0.6 seconds.

I recommend pressing the lock button to get yourself back to 0.6 seconds, and then pressing the unlock button to start advancing through the crank times.

Good Luck!
