Default B20B4 block, B18C1 head

Here's what I've got...

B20B4 block
B18C1 head, intake manifold, distributor, ECU, wiring harness, etc.
B18C1 transmission
DC 4-2-1 manifold

What kind of hp and tq can I expect (realistically) with this combo.

if you dont upgrade your internals and think you can still rev it to 8000rpm+ your motor wont last that long.

but i have seen my buddies crv/tec with ~168whp

Have you ever compared a B20B vs B18C dyno graph? Obviously not. If that's the case, then why is the VTEC change-over in the 4000's? Also, before you decide to give advise, learn to spell.

ok people...lets stop the kiddish talking...if your combonation is going to be stock and not upgraded, i doubt you will be even making 130 hp.

you need to upgrade internals, raise compression(allmotor), and tune the motor for its full power.

Yea, I'm a little kid. I've got a GSR sitting in my driveway, and a B20B LS in my garage. I'm just curious, so you can suck my little kid dick.</TD></TR></TABLE>

looks like we got another CleanShaven

From what I've seen and read, the VTEC head typically increases whp by 30-40.

The B20B4 already makes 128 at the wheels with just an exhaust and LS intake manifold.

Look where the power starts to taper off and level. Look where it starts on a stock GSR, with intake and 4-2-1 manifold.

I'm only switching to the VTEC head for the better cam profiles. That doesn't mean I have to rev it to 8k. I wouldn't rev anything past the stock block red line, unless the bottom end was balanced for it. I looked into building the bottom end, but it adds considerable cost to the project.

What's the oil for?
