Default Civic ECU interchange ?

I know my way around the Si's, But have a friend with a 91 Civic DX automatic and a bad ECM. I have an 88 Civic LX ECM left over from a swap and need to know if it will work with the later civic.

Part # for 88 Civic LX=37820-PM5-A550
Part # for 91 Civic DX=37820-PM5-C50

Both cars have the same drivetrain and injecton set up, I'm just not sure.

It has to be shipped to him, otherwise I would just plug it in and try it.

Thanks, Jason

Ok, it might work and this is why I say might. The ELD sensor is supposed to be in two different spots when you look at the 88-89 versus 90-91 ECU; If someone can verify this for me it would be greatly appreciated.
