These look like civic type r cams, but are they??? Please help
I bought these off a guy that said he removed it from his b16b head, but they look odd to me.
They do have the 2 rings on the end of them to designate a type r cam, but they look different from every other cam end that i have seen. They are more toward they end instead of evenly spaced. If what im saying is unclear then just look at the pictures.
Also, the cams have an "A" engraved on the shafts of both the intake and exhaust cam.
Oh and the pictures are huge, sorry
Im puzzled by these, so please help
thanks much all.

Damn, those pics are huge! Also, they look nothing like the pic I have. The spacing is too wide and they are way at the end of the cam.
Anyway, is the end of the cam slot for the dizzy tapered like the one in the pic?
If not, ive heard of some people selling type-R replica cams on ebay. I dont know what brand they though.

I've never noticed the "A" on the R cams either before. I wonder if that is some aftermarket companies "spec A" cam? You might have something there better then an R cam. Pics are too huge.
Dadgum! What is that some sort of forensics camera??
They shoulda used your camera on OJ's bloody glove...

haha, yea im sorry the pics are way to big, but anyways,
yea they ARE tapered like a type r cam is at the dizzy end...
also i measured the vtec lobe with a micrometer, and found the lobe the to be 1.423
minus the base circle of 1.138.
this equals .285 times the rocker ratio of 1.52 (i think this the correct rocker ratio)
equals .433 inches of lift.
I know my tool isnt the most accurate (shoulda used a dial in tool) but that gives a rough measurement of lift.
So if that helps anybody with what the hell kind of cams these are.
thanks for the help so far guys.

take the cams to a dealership, have a mechanic compare the lift with that of an itr and gsr cam.
