Please keep in mind, we do not sell this product. we are a online comparison site for import performance products. There products are listed on our website. We apologize for any misunderstanding. But HID Specialists are the OEM manufacturers that sell there products to distributors such as Lamba and MRD.

No need to accuse us, when a request for a better explanation will do.

Let me know if I can clear anything else up.

Man. How can you be so blunt about there isnt a OEM spec for the color temperature? Do you work in the industry? Even so, how can you be sure there isnt one for international distributors.

I give much credit to TunerMarket for providing usefully information where everyone can find bargains and reputable shops online. If you really have problem with the lights, you probably should take it to the retailer instead. Just so you know, price comparison sites dont even sell those product directly, they are just information services.

there is one review at tunermarket on this kit, I believe this company also sells their kits on ebay for $30 dollars more and have gotten great reviews. You can contact this company by clicking the link on the TunerMarket.com website, or research them under the retailer profile.

Just so you know that none of your parts of the HID kit are close to OEM qaulity. and trust me if it was OEM such as Phillips, Hella Ect there would not be a price tag of $250.

Also OEM kits are only 4300k!! Not 10000k.

BTW did you know that It is illegal to sell HID kits within the United States? thats why most of the companies selling HID kits are from canada.

Straight from the NHTSA.

NHTSA ILLEGAL LIGHTING CRACKDOWN CONTINUES
Continuing its crackdown against manufacturers and suppliers of illegal lighting equipment, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) today announced its decision that high intensity discharge (HID) conversion kits produced by a Texas company do not comply with federal safety standards.

The owner of ASTEX USA, a supplier of aftermarket HID kits, was ordered to conduct a recall campaign and provide a no-cost solution to the customer. The company is based in Dayton, TX. When installed in a motor vehicle, the HID kits "can be expected to produce excessive glare to oncoming motorists and others," NHTSA said in its decision.

To date, NHTSA has investigated 24 HID conversion kit suppliers; all investigations have resulted in recalls or termination of sales.

"These illegal lights are a potential hazard to those who share the road," said NHTSA Administrator Jeffrey Runge, MD. "And we will continue to pursue those offering them for sale and violating the law."

Companies that sell, import or manufacture non-compliant equipment could face substantial civil penalties, NHTSA said.

Also im sure you want to end up like APC did and paying out a shitload of money as well right?

American Products Company To Pay $650,000 Civil Penalty For Sale of Lamps Not Meeting Safety Standards

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced today that American Products Company (APC) has agreed to pay a $650,000 civil penalty as a result of its manufacture, certification, and sale of replacement lamps that did not comply with federal safety standards.

APC sold noncompliant replacement lighting equipment, including clear corner and bumper lenses and high-intensity discharge (HID) conversion kits. The nonconforming equipment was sold by a variety of retailers. The lamps and lenses have been the subject of four recalls covering thousands of parts.

The parts and model numbers associated with these safety recalls are listed on NHTSA’s web site, http://www.nhtsa.gov/ under the recall numbers 99E-039, 00E-078, 01E-035 and 03E-014. Part and model numbers are located either on the lamps or on the packaging in which the lamps were sold. Consumers with questions about this or any other safety recall campaign should call NHTSA’s toll-free Auto Safety Hotline, (888) 327-4236.

This is why your kit is illegal to sell in the USA

To state the point again, TunerMarket.com does NOT actually sell ANY products, we are a comparison shopping site, we provide shoppers with listings of tons of different online sellers and be able to compare their prices, retailer/seller ratings, and product ratings.

One of our sellers is selling this kit. The OEM-only means they are the original manufacturer, and not OEM in terms of manufacturers for production vehicles. Many people that sell HID kits are distributors/wholesellers that rebrand the kits.

We advertise here because we want you guys to learn of a better way to shop.

I don't quite understand the justification for accusing us of ripping people off.

I'm not sure what the big deal is going on here. If i dont want the HID lights I just dont buy it. This is not even a HID debate forum.

Nonetheless, tunermarket, great job on offering a good number of shops and products selection for me.

HID's arent illegal to have on show cars. If you're so worried about it being illegal then why don't you post on peoples threads that are selling testpipes or headers without carb numbers on them.

Because not every single state Enforces those laws.. I dont have a cat or test pipe i have a flex pipe off the header and then exhaust thats it. Ive had cops check out my car before and they dont say a damn thing about no cat. Hell i got hillbilly's runnin around here all the time with there headers coming out the side of there damn pickup truck

HID's are 50 state ILLEGAL. thats why. and headers without carb #'s dont cause accidents
