Default B18a into my 95 hatch: motor mount issue

I'm trying to put my b18a bottom-end lsvtec into my EG, but the driver's side block engine mount from my old 2nd gen b16a doesn't seem to blolt on correctly-- it bolts on a fairly severe angle.

Does anybody know if this mount would be different between the b16a and b18a?

If so, does anybody know if I can switch the cast piece that bolts onto the motor mount and the block from my b16 to the b18? It appears to be the same, but there's a stupid plastic cover preventing me from easily removing it to check so I figured I check here first to see if anyone knew.

Hell, does anyone know how to get the lower plasic timing belt cover off? I assume I have to take the crank pulley off?

I really hope I don't need to buy more parts and wait on them; I'm ready for this thing to just be in

I tried quite a few searches but didn't really know how to find such a specific tid-bit of info; I'll try to post some pictures in a few hours here.

nm, put a crowbar in the bolts on the flywheel, had my friends 280 lb "little" brother sit on the head and popped the crank pulley bolt off it about 45s... that was quite contrary to all the horror stories I've read. So yea incase anybody searches this for some reason...
1) the bracket from the b16 block fits right on the b18 block directly
2) you HAVE to take the crank pulley off to get the lower timing belt cover off

my lsvtec is in my car btw; time to hook stuff up and get confused about the wiring harness
