Aaah.. finally a USDM front Model..
but the Quality is POOR compared to Ebbro or Honda Direct Marketing one..
Plan to Strip it, repaint it, sandpaper it, etc..
now.. the Question for people who's done it before...

what liquid/thinner should I use to remove the paint on that Die-cast body?
also when I re-paint the body, do I use primer or just spray on?

anyone got a 2mm MF10 or Spoon Rims replica?

MotorMax = 1/24 USDM front.. 2 colors only though.. Yellow or White..
Ebbro = JDM front, 1/43... very very nice.
Honda Direct Marketing = Made by Ebbro but with better quality and different rims(on S2K model that I have)..

The Best would be build from scratch using Tamiya Model or Fujimi though...

I just got mine from motor max...the quality is VERY POOR, but what can you expect from something that costs only $12. I plan on doing the same...stripping it and re painting it....any suggestions???

 

For Honda Direct Marketing... umm.. just see Ebbro one.. they look almost exactly the same.. I don't have it..
what's bad is IT's not USDM front.. and until I do JDM front, I won't get it..

heh, i'm waiting for the black USDM one before i buy...those ebbro JDM ones are tite tho. Although, any time i wish they made one, i remind myself I HAVE THE REAL THING and i smile and am happy.

I think these toys comes from China illegally produced without Honda's license. That's why u don't see much distributors in US. My friends see this on the street selling at discount stores for 1000yen in Japan, just like stuff on Canal St. in NYC.
U get what u pay for.
