tring to put a 98 usdm type r cluster into my 94 ls.the gas and temp gauges do not work right and when i turn on the blinker, both blinker lights come on,how do i fix this?and yes i tried serching.

 

u probably need to use a 97 itr cluster if u want it to work..

i know for sure the 98-01 usdm tegs need to use 98+ jdm clusters.. and 94-97 usdms use the older clusters for them to work.. otherwise if you put a 97 cluster into a 98(or vice versa) the cluster goes nuts even if u swap it in properly...

u can try swapping the green film on the back from one cluster to the other.. or if u are too scared to move the green film.. take the entire cluster apart and just swap the gauge pod panels from one white skeleton to the other..
