when filling tranny with oil do i fill it up until i see oil comes out?
yes... or you just put in the right amount for the specific transmission. i know i put 1.8 quarts in my d-series tranny when i changed the fluid. i think its 2.1 for b-series but i'm not sure
Yep.
The lower plug is a drain plug, the upper plug is a check/fill plug. When you undo it, and the tranny is filled to its proper level, oil should just drip out slowly.
I don't completely trust capacities in manuals /... nor my estimation as to how much I put in. the markings on the containers are very imprecise. I always fill these things until oil begins to drip out of the top hole.
