Hey guys, I recently had my 2000 si stolen and i'm planning to start on another project, my question is should i go with a HB or a coupe, the reason i'm asking it's because both cars i found to be beutiful and i'm planning to do a lot of work on the car.

I'm planning the get a 2000 type r motor and Greddy turbo, any sugestion on what u think is the best combination on building a GREAT ENGINE ????????

 

This is the EF CRX/CIVIC forum... I personally would go with a hb

 

If you already had a coupe try seomthing new and go with a hatch.

coupe or hatch.. what year you talking about? 92-95 coupe and ef hatch or ef hatch? i say eg coupe is cool but eg hatch is pretty cool too.

If you want to go b-series, make it easier on yourself and get a 92-95 EG hatchback, All 92 model hatches were wired for vtec up to the shock tower plugs on the right side(passengers side) And with the hydrolic clutch, and you can keep a/c if you like and still run a decent header. Good Luck either way...

 

I vote for a EF Hatch, but I'm biased...lol.

I had a 2000 si coupe and i was looking at the 1999-2000 HB and i'm really indicided as to get a Si coupe and work on that or go with a HB and put a B16 or a B18 and get upgrades on either engine.

I was at the races last night and i'm almost deciding on going with a 99 HB and put a b16 turbo on it.. I love Hondas..

 

i call bullshit. we know the 2000 si was a coupe, thanks for clearing that up.

another 99-00 si coupe? si hatches have a b16 already (eg)

you're not getting a c5 nor a turbo kit for it.

no, moron. your question was should you get a hatch or a coupe. then you told us you'd be dropped a c5 turbo into it.

then you went to the races and all of a sudden you love the b16 and you want to turbo it. and throw that into the hatch.

but wait..at the end you told me that you asked to help make a decision on the si or the hatch and throw a b18 into it.
