I just purchased a JSP CF hood and the fitment is great. The problem is that I need someway to mount the weather stripping at the front of the hood. Should I glue it or screw it in? Any help or suggestions would be awsome and I need them ASAP. Thanks,

What about the weather stripping you can get that is stickey on one side?

 

double side tape....
new weather striping with glue on it remove tape and install....
3m adhesive glue....
mount and drill holes through stripping and hood and install "chirstmas tree".....

many different ways all should get the same result

 

Any other opinions?

 

i say just stick with the double sided tape. i wouldnt try anyting else on a new c/f hood. so just do that and it should be fine goodluck-

 

i just left the stripping off my ViS hood when i had my other car

no problems

 

Problem is I need the strip to fit a small gap problem.
