Default I need someone to tune my car...ATL, N.GA, etc area...who do you recommend?

I've finally gotten down to tuning, well almost. I'm trying to find out who you guys think OR KNOW is the best tuner in my area. I know of Balanced Performance, Mahdavi Motorsports, and that's it. Is there anyone else new out there? I will drive a little if I need to so please recommend someone in N.GA, ATL, Chattanooga is about as far north as I'd like to go, and I'd consider a trip to SC or NC if the price is right. I did search and found some stuff from mid-2004 so update me guys and girls. THANKS!

-Chris

I should have mentioned I'm tuning Hondata guys.

You definitely need to get in touch with knowledge motorsports, they are someof the best in our area...

but if u want underground tuning for good prices and pretty good tuning, you need to talk to the guys at mainstream performance they have a group called SRZ who tune and build motors in the GA/powdersprings area....

hope u get tuned...

Trey Commander (Asahi here on Honda-Tech) can tune both Hondata and PowerFC; he uses the Dyno Dynamics dyno facility in Calhoun (about 1hr. north of ATL on I-75).

After you find someone and have the work done, let me know how it goes. I'm in winder, and my motor is almost complete. I will be in the same boat.

No problem, we'll see what happens. I have some friends that recommended ABACUS Racing in VA. I'm considering making a weekend out of it if I can't find someone here I dig. I'll let you know sir.

This guy is one of the best. He tunes anything and everything and has done tons of hondas. And he's in the ATL. Can't go wrong.

Sent you a PM back. I can tune most afternoons. Calhoun is about 60 miles north of ATL on I-75. I was just down in Farmington a couple weeks ago at the Heritage Park Mtn Bike race. You guys have a really sweet area down there.

Give me shout if you have any questions.

I'm glad this topic came up, i'm from SC and I'm also looking for a hondata tuner in the northern part of GA and NC area. I have a mild built ls/vtec setup that needs to be tune badly. My compression are in the 11:7's. Someone please help me.

.....depends on what you need tuned/ what resources you have for tuning.

What program(s) do you have for your car now?

Uberdata?

Hondata?

Crome?

Neptune?

Just a vafc?

Is this an FI or NA setup?

Please be a bit more specific, as I could recommend no less than 3 different people based on your answers...

Thanks Ken.

I can do Power FC and Greddy eManage too. Depending on where you are located I have some suggestions on someone else to tune as well. Jack at P1 Auto is the only other person I would let touch my ITR.

http://www.d-series.org/forums...17949 -that is knowledge in Kennesaw...incredible shop and incredible guys...

P1 in SC is awesome too, Jack is INTENSE! However, it is like 3.5 hours away from ATL; i just did that drive and it's boring.

Either or, both are great....and both are Apexi Power Excel
