Default RADIATOR LEAKING! WHICH ONE TO USE AS REPLACEMENT?

My radiator finally gave it at 153k miles. It's leaking on the edges, I'll need a new one. Where is the best and cheapest place to find a OEM or OE style one? I dont have much mods on my GS-R. @ http://www.radiatorbarn.com it has 2 types, which one is more ideal? One is aluminum (102 bux), the other is ALL METAL (122 bux). Both with lifetime warrenty's. So which one would you prefer?

plastic end tanks will leak again. I went with the all metal ones. Oh, and about that warranty i wouldnt even use that as a deciding factor in which one to buy. They would try everything they can to get out of honoring it.

If you got anymore questions try searching some more, there are tons of threads on this.

i got a hybrid gsr in civic, replace the half-size with OEM style from KOYO. Also runs it without radiator fans, i was supprised that the temp without fans is lower than my old radiator (1/2sized) with fan?

KOYO OEM style cool at 1/4 to 1/3 of the temp's range. so i gues cooling is good.

as far as plastic top and bottom, im not sure how long they will last. But hell KOYO is a huge *** company, i dont think they'll let me down about leaking. Well not any time soon i believe

so i recommend KOYO OEM style for GSR for you car. Price? have no idea, my friend gave it to me. So check around

Also, if you notice the all metal is a 2-row when the plastic metal is one row - if you think you're going to go turbo in the long run go with the 1-row to save space and hassle down the road.

- Search this fourm.. theres plenty of info on radiators - OEMS and aftermarket

Yup, the all-metal one is 2 row. I just bought the 2-row all-metal one for about $128 shipped. It works good and you can't beat it for the money.

If you do alot of driving in the country side i would use the metel. But if you are looking for a light weight and better looking radiator plus it is a little bit cheap go with the aluminum one.

Go with a pwr from EARL it is a great radiator and works perfect for a turbo setup!

The fan is there so you won't overheat if you are in traffic, be careful.
