I'm needing to find out what the thin padding, the stuff they use on race bikes, is called.

I would like to use it on our baja car.

Foam

 

Foam is a little bit too general. I have about 5 different types of foam in the shop, and none will work.

Maybe I should try a different question, does anyone know any suppliiers of race seat foam?

 

Your going to want some closed cell foam

Supposedly http://www.sharkskinz.com carries some but you'll need to call them and I've heard lockhart does also.

Another good option is finding a local store that sells kayaks. They should have tons of the stuff in different sizes and thickness so you can feel the one you want and get a big enough piece so that you can cut it to the size you want.
