b18c, no vtec oil pressure switch, p28 needs one

Default b18c, no vtec oil pressure switch, p28 needs one

Well the b18c I have has no vtec oil pressure switch, I was wondering what other assembly has the oil pressure switch and will work on this head ?

any, b or d series vtec solenoid from the us has the pressure switch. any of these will work. single cam or twin cam.

I don't think all of them will just bolt right up to a b18c head

yes the switches are universal from D-B and others series motors, just the switch not the whole soleniod.

Yes I know the switches are interchangeable, but where is the switch suppose to plug into on a b18c ? There is no sport for it. I need the whole assembly.

you can always bypass the switch by grounding the wire to the ECU.

But getting the switch is the best idea.
the switch can be virtually any place that has oil pressure, so if you want to go custom install it just like an oil pressure gauge.
Or just buy a USDM assembly.

just saw the whole assembly on ebay 15 min ago for a whopping $0.99 plus $10 shipping (i think).

If it was my car I would think about doing it, but its a customers car.
