Default welding help

my friend lend me his little flux core welder and i was doing some welds and on a regular surface, the welds come out right. i have a cherry bomb that i am doing welds on or practicing on. i just cant make the welds like that when i try to put two pipes toghether, they look like a bunch of popcorn smashed all over the place. what can i do to make them smoother? . i mainly borrowed it to do exhausts. i have no experience, never welded and i need some advice because i dont want to mess up the piping i but from kteller.

Increase the output to maximum, and turn up the wirespeed until you don't get spatter anymore.

Are you pushing or pulling the weld?

Well it does not have a **** that controls the wire speed. And when I put it on high, I make holes on the pipe. As for pulling or pushing, I start a bead and I move away from it with the gun opposing the begining point, so I guess I am pulling it. I also make blobs, I can't really get for it to flow and look good, it just makes big ugly blobs am I doin it to slow?

you need to push flux core wire

and keep the heat down a bit fluxcore is a hot weld as it is keep the gun at about 5 dgrees to the seam and push it along try to keep the pipe rolling because there are different methods of fluxcore welding when it out of position if you need to run a verticle up keep the gun at 90 degrees and use a sweeping motion and at each side stay for a second and dont concentrate the heat over the seam move over the seam quickly

and look again for a wire speed know it has to have 1

well i read my post and its kinda hard to explain what i mean by push the weld it depends how your standing and in what position your welding
