Help install foglights
Well I just got my foglights in and I'm having trouble installing it. I've looked at couple articles on HT and Team-Integra but I think the harness that came with my foglight are a little different then the ones that are in the articles.
This picture shows part of the harness connected to one of the foglights.

This is the other part of the harness which i believe connects under the dash.

Now let me know if I'm doing this correctly. I connected the plug from the first pic to a harness plug that was in the engine next to the driver side headlight.

From the second picture, the brown plug, does that go to this harness under the dash?

and from pic one, the wire i listed as unknown, does that go to the fuse like below?

I've connected everything this way and the foglights still don't work. Not sure if i connected the ground wires correctly, but i just screwed them down to any bolt i found that was connected to metal.. Let me know what I'm doing wrong here.
thanks.

How r u doing with the install? You have the whole harness already done up for you...That black box is your relay which you should just screw in somewhere under your dash...That fuse box thing you also need...It would prob be easier to cut and resplice things and start over using one of the posted instructions...Mike M has a good how to on here...You just have to study it for a while...I studied that DIY until I knew what everything was and its purpose...Take your time and it should come out fine...
yeah i got it work, everything was pretty much plug and play. the first time i installed it, for some reason it didn't work but then i went back and tried it again and it lights up now. only problem was that one bulb was blown so i had to replace that.
now i have another problem, the light on the switch doesn't light on when the switch is turned on. anyone know how to fix this problem?

It's about the switch light.
OK. check to see if you have a OEM fog. If yes, something is wrong with the switch. If no (aftermarket), then it comes this way.
I have a brand new aftermarket and it's doing the same thing.

i have an OEM switch, i got it on ebay, when I wired it up the green light didnt go on, take out the switch and replace the inner bulb, that you can get at Radio Shack, it has like a green covering to make the light green, same bulbs used in the hazard and defrost buttons.
there is like 2 wires that need to be routed around a path and then the bulb will work.
most likely its the same situation, just need a new inner bulb.
