Im not sure about the 88-91.... but I know the main differences are the brackets. Do a quick search.... someone just asked this question.

It should bolt up fine, pulleys might not line up, but you can fix that. It is easier to get the kit made specifically for your engine but it takes all the fun (sarcasm) out of the install. I installed a 99-00 EX kit on my D16Z6, and ran into that problem.

superchargers arent known for putting out at much power compared to turboed cars, you'll prolly get around 140ish to the wheels, but we are NOT going to turn this into a superchrager vs. turbocharger thread

well, just to add.....before this I did own a 300 whp turbo d-series I just wanted something different, and less of a pain in the ***. The stock supercharger puts down like 150 to the wheels, plus my bolt ond and some tuning, it should be plenty fun for me to drive around. Not to mention, no turbo lag and all that.

It feels like a totally different car now. I have I/H/E to go with it. To me it feels a step above a B16, and a little slower than B18C1. Compared to a GSR, mine feels faster below 4500 RPM, then it falls off. The B18C1 feels faster after 4500-5K RPM.
