rotor question....
ok, so this will probably make me look really retarded, but thats ok. i've got a 97 civic hx, and my brakes are bad, so im going to get new pads, and rotors. i was looking online, and found front rotors, and rear rotors for a 90-00 civic or 92-00. but my rear brakes are drum, i believe, theyre stock. so would it be possible to put rotors on there? or do i have to do a brake conversion, if so how much? thanks for any help, sorry for sounding so stupid.
you need to get a adaptor for the Rear to be able to put the disc's on. or the easy way is to get a brake conversion kit. they run about a grant but look around you may find some that are cheaper
you will need to change the whole rear brake set up for rear discs you can get them of a bunch of different cars that will fit yours. check out the faq thread at the top of the eg forum. and try a search too.

A thousand dollars???? You could buy an ITR 5 lug with all 4 disc for that much.... Anyways, you can get the full GSR or SI rear brakes and bolt them up to your car.
You can also improve your braking by getting an integra RS master cylinder and booster to go with the new brakes.

Your rears are probably fine. Don't worry about them, and change the front brakes. If that doesn't help, then worry about the drums. Switching to disks will give you almost no performance benifit.
