what else comes out?
ive seen a lot of people taking out powersteeringl. which i am all for. as soon as i get the money to buy the reguired parts.
ive also seen the removal of abs. which i again am all for but need money for the parts.
what else can i take out of my 95 LS for weight/and **** i just dont need? hmm .... worded better .... what complete systems can come off the car that are not necessary for the car to function and to gain weight loss and improved handling.

did you catch this months/last months (whatever) honda-tuning?
in the back it has that CX civic hatch ... the yellow one. thats now my basis for building my street car. i totally dig how he left the interior in but took out the carpet. that looks so hardcore. and i am wanting to do the same. keep all (most all) my interior and remove stuff you dont see ...... i.e. as you mentioned the ac, sound deading ****

You could also get some lightweight seats (not sure how much you plan on spending, since lightening is usually free) but there are CF seats available.
The spoiler, lightweight rims, spare tire, jack, any paneling (probably overboard), rear wiper motor, power antenna motor, slim radiator fans, heatshields under exhaust or even above... just whatever you see in your car that you'll never need or could do without can come out. Weight adds up. Remember, every 100lbs is approx .1 off in the 1/4mile... not a huge improvement but just to show you that it even helps in the straights rather than just auto-x type stuff.

so far i have ...
removed rear wiper and motor
installed lightweight buddy club wheels
taken out spare tire/jack/tools, etc
from time to time i pick at the sound deadening tar
*what is the next cheapest item? as far as abs, powersteering, the full system removal type jobs? i know Padawan sells P/S removal kits for like $65
*im going to take the carpet out and remove all sound tar, but keep installed all of my interior pieces.
