help. car won't start.

Default help. car won't start.

i was driving my car all of a sudden **** just shakes and dies out (no, i didn't stall my car). now the car won't start up. whenever i turn the key it sounds like its about to start up but then it dies out again. i'm pretty sure it's not the altenator cause the electricity's fine. car's now parked on the side of road ready for thieves. need help a.s.a.p. thanks.

I had the same thing happen to my CRX. After inspecting the plugs and t belt I found that the screw that held my rotor button on the distributor shaft fell out. Put it back in and Vrroomm. Worth a shot.

replaced it last night no luck.

car used to crank but then it's started to get weaker and weaker, belts started slowing down, until they stop moving at all, tried jump starting it also didnt do jack.
