Default abot CAI pls

do i still have to clean my cai and is it possible to drive my CAI in the rain?im so worried bout hydrolocking. pls reply

aight bro. Clean your Filter,, go to auto zone and get the K&N filter cleaner for 9 bucks follow the instructions and Blamo ready to race.
As for your intake un less you live in seattle, or like to drive your car into lakes, i would not worry about. You can purchase the Bypass buyt i think it is a waste of money.

bypass valve is a waste of $.

try and drive around the really deep puddles. if you must drive through a deep puddle, just close the throttle as you coast through it.

um i dont drive my car in the lakes im worried when it rains and drive on the freeway so its cool then when driving the car in the rain huh i didnt lower my car by the way

You'll notice your cars performance is lacking a little in the rain, that's cause the filter is probably wet. You won't suck up enough water to hydro lock unless you're at WOT through a deep puddle and totally submerge the filter.

If you go WOT through a puddle, then you deserve what you get anyway.

It's only a waste of money if you live in a really dry place. If not, its worth the $35 to save your engine.
