tire size question for gsr w/ oem r suspension
Hey guys, have a dc2 gsr w/ suspension from a 01 R & oem R lca's. I have rota slipstreams in 16x7 w/ 40mm offset. What tire size would you guys run to give proper clearance, no rubbing, etc??
Thanks!
Thanks!

I've run that size with stock ITR suspension and +38 offset, no issues. With the +40 offset, you're probably fine with a 215/45 or 215/40.
My snow tires were 205/50R16, that was pushing it. Then I lowered my car and they're mostly unusable.
Good luck!

Zero chance. that would not fit (it would likely rub the inside of the wheel well, and be horribly too tall in general)

Your speedo would be off by quite a bit, also.

Just trying to help you out, dipshit.
And, btw, this isn't 20 questions.

I have a set. They rubbed with stock ITR suspension, just a little bit. I lowered it and they're unusable.
There is no reason to get a taller tire than stock, unless you're getting it used and super cheap.
p.s. Read. I answered your question before you even posted it.
