Anyone with CTR piston in their GSR, post here
Did you have any problems with detonation? I think that head/valve clearance is ok. I just ordered them and I want to know if I can tune out detonation with retarded timing. Will a VAFC be all that I need to tune the air/fuel curve.
Setup is:
OBD1 GSR
ITR intake and Exhaust cams (will purchase Jun 2 intake with tax refund:D)
ITR intake and exhaust valve springs
Skunk2 mani with 64 mm b16 TB
Ported and polished head (not milled)
CTR pistons
Skunk2 Cam gears
Crower titanium retainers
VAFC.
AEM CAI
Greddy Evo Catback
DC 4-2-1 CC header (to be sold soon in favour of a DC JDM 4-1)
8800 Redline with JDM hondaparts.com reprogrammed ECU
Anyone care to speculate on the power output of the above setup?
