I'm sure you can find it cheaper then that. They are good helmets. Known for wild creative graphics.

 

I found it for $399. I really like the design.. just want ot make sure they are good quailty.. I like arai but I really like that one design

 

the shop by me just got a bunch of suomys in. im really digging them but not their $600 price tag. 399 sounds much better.

 

I love my Suomy Spec-1r. The designs are wild and the fabric is pretty nice. They're kind of loud though

 

yeah they are awesome.. but that damn price tag isnt.

 

Nothing wrong with Suomy, really.

If you ask me, the best helmets are Shoei, Sumoy, and Arai, with Arai having a slight edge. I have worn Arai helmets since before I even started riding bikes, they just fit my head so darn well.

I'd be wary of buying a helmet online, since you can't try it on. Unless you already know how that particular model and size fits you.

For example, I can wear either a M or L in Arai. But a M in Shoei really hurts my head. Now I know what I can buy online, and what I shouldn't buy.

Be sure it fits, or you'll have a $400 paperweight.

 

I know one rider who died w/ a suomy on... died of head injuries mind you

right? i'm sure there are people who have died of head trauma with an arai or shoei. a helmet can only help so much...

 

I wish you could buy Arai Helmets online. I never seem to find any online except for eBay and **** like that....

 

yeah I seen a kid go down with a hjc helmet and split it wide open. and like you said a helmet can only help sooo much
