dumped on koni yellows, how firm or soft dou set it?
i just installed koni's with my sportlines and it dumped my car on the lowest perch setting and i like the way it looks. im set on the stiffest or firmest setting with the konis in the front and its a harsh ride. my friend told me to leave it on the firmest since my front is so low and i dont want my front to be bouncing.
i jsut want to know how firm or soft u guys set ur koni yellows with slammed front. thanks

Even on the softest setting I doubt you will bottom out as they are still quite stiff compared to other brands. Basically it's user preference when it comes to stiffness unless you are racing.
That ride is going to suck....they are adjustable, play with it!
My integra was usually set to full soft for daily driving, or 1/2 turn toward firm. Full firm really sucks for a daily driving setup, and only feels good on a smooth road, aka track.

Lowering spring combined with the lowering perch is an open invitation to bottoming and internally damaging the shocks. You are essentially undersprung for the ride height you are at which is not advisable. If you damage the shocks from bottoming, the warranty will not cover it.
If you really like the look and are willing to risk the damage and potential ride issues, I highly suggest that you make sure that you have plenty of bump rubber available. Not just the amount of bump rubberthe Sportlines suggest that you need but more since the car now has less stroke available and is very close to bottoming to begin with. Driving on your bump rubbers is bettter than bottoming iand destroying your shocks on a regular basis. I'd highly recommend against this set-up but if you must, go into it knowing what the risks are and what needs to be done to minimize them. Without it, I'd be greatly surprised if they aren't destroyed from bottoming in just a few weeks or months.
Where you set your rebound damping will have no effect on the bottoming situation so I would suggest for a more livable ride quality, back it off closer to the mid-range so you won't be overdamped and have a really choppy, short cycle ride.

Your original question is kinda like asking someone how much "Pepper" they like on their food. Everybody is different, and it's all about personall preference. Try full soft, and full stiff. Then find a happy medium (that you like). Since your low, your going to bottom out anyways. Remember that shocks are designed to soften up on hard impacts.
Mine are set at 1 full turn from soft (front w/ 400 lb/in springs), and .75 turns from soft (rear w/ 250 lb/in springs). My car is lowered 2.25"-2.5". Rides great (for me)...

Lee's advice is worth taking seriously here.

i guess if you want your car too be low and look good, there are some prices you need to pay (ride quality) but its all up to the drive and what they like.
