brake noise
recently ive noticed a rythmic brake scraping noise when i lightly apply my brakes coming from the drivers side brake.
i removed the wheel to inspect, and everything looks fine. rotor is clean. lots of pad left. what can cause this noise. it only occurs when i slightly apply the brakes, and disappears when i apply more breaking power. there is one scrape per wheel revolution.
the only thing i can think off is the rotor guard might be getting in the way somehow...

i had that and currently have it... ive just bean lazy but you shoud try taking off the break pad and putting sum anti-sqeek or anti-vibration substance on the back of the pad and between the points where all metal touches... exept for the part where the pad touches the rotor.. yoru could get that stuff at autozone for like a buck tell them yoru problem they'll help you out too
i took the pads out this weekend, cleaned it all up, checked the rotors and put it all back together. things were pretty dirty in there. the noise is now gone. let's hope it stays that way.
Thanks.
Thanks.
