Default My car got broken into, Fu*k theives

My car got broken into today, ******* theievs can go to hell and suck on my left nut, but when they "tried" to into the car they manage to bend my drivers side window a bit and now the black stripping isn't lining up with it, no matter how much i adjust it air gets through to it and you can see right through it, is there anyway of fixing this? BTW the car is a 1993 honda accord and my alarm went off so they ran off, this was in the middle of the day in front of my sister in laws house

Question: How can i line up my window to my door again, when pulled all the way up you can clearly see a gap and hear air go through

the blow nuts... I hate to hear about another ride getting broke into. A friend of mine just got his window busted not long ago and they jacked his radio, a harddrive, pool que, etc (after destroying his dash)... makes me not want to drive my car out places.

the window is either off the track or they bent part of the track itself.

if you want to be sure of whats going on, you would want to take off the door panel to examine any damage.

I know it blows to take off the door panel but otherwise if you were to bend it back into place using brute force... it will just do further damage imo.

is there a gap between where the door closes ast the top back corner?

if so they put a wedge between your door and the body of the car near the roof and pried the door out enough to put a coathanger in there or something they can hit the door lock switch with.

you might wanna go to a body shop about that.

I feel your pain. Got broken into from window, thieves used a flat-head screw driver wedged under passenger window and popped the glass out and shattered it. Now there's a finger sized dent outward where they did it, and my car whistles. Tried hammering/tapping it back in, no use. Repair guy said might have to replace that frame around the window.

Yes. You'll have to open up the door panel. You should be able to bend the door regulator a bit so the window lines up. I would try pressing on the glass but definately not too hard

Pulling on the glass outward from the tip didn't break it b/k its a roman arch. Pushing back might break it now b/k the shape is a cascade.

Safest way would be to just remove the regulator and mess with it outside of the car (on a vise).

man.. sorry to hear that.

My other car was also vandalised few months back so i had to sell it, and the car was completely stock. What's going on with all the honda/acura, every one i know who owns that type of car either have their car stolen or vandalized. (including me of course)

I suggest if we want to stop this as a community, dont buy any used car parts. All the theives do is steal the parts and resell it to people like us.

hmm.. just saw some one post that his car got broken into 4 times. here is my story/history:

1) vandalised integra gs-r [wheels gone]
2) vandalised integra gs-r [seats and audtio gone]
3) stolen integra gs-r
4) vandalised type R [emblems which i've fixed twice already, 3rd time i just shaved it off]
5) stolen type R
6) vandalised accord [wheels]

of course you can imagine what will happen if i ever see some one stealing/messing with a car.

OMG, I'm sorry about that... I can't belive that would try to break into a car during the middle of the day.

honestly, i'm very scared about my car... I think that maybe I shouldn't even spend any more money on my car such that it won't catch people's attention.

Very sorry to hear that.

similar note -- when mine was broken into they (before smashing the window) a) fucked with my locks so now the only way i can get in is with keyless entry, and they also b) tried to pry the black part off....and now air gets in through there -- any way to fix it? here's a picture -- it doesn't look that bad but it sounds horrible:

But i didn't buy what you bought...i got better protection now

I too am very worried about my ride. I get alot of lookers. For one I don't leave anything out in the open to see. Second I don't roll on rims that no one has. I have aftermarket one's in which alot of people have already. I don't have or really want a loud system because everyone will look at my wagon as a even bigger target. I did have a attempted break in last year were they bent back both my black strips on my front doors before they realize I had an alarm. I ended up having to replace my drivers side piece. I hate a thief who perfers to take somebody's else hard earned efforts instead of going out to get it themselves with their own sh_t.
