Get a 92 EG.....All 92 Hatchbacks were wired for vtec up to the right side shock tower plugs, plus they easily take a B-series swap.

 

eg all the way, i love them things, wish i had one myself, but than again, i loooove my X too, so imma tell you the same thing i told some other guy that started a thread like this....get both and claim best of both worlds

 

I say get an EG, you'll be happier with the extra room that you have. Unless if you are planning on stripping it down and what not. Then Id say get a Crx.

Considering that a car has to be at least 15 years old to import straight into Canada without running into DMV red tape over emissions and safety equipment (more info), you'll have trouble getting your hands on an EG6 for at least another year or two. Might as well go for the CRX.
