Default 390cc injectors?

can i use injectors from a dsm auto turbod car on my homemade turbo setup? i only plan on pushing 8 psi on my mini me, are those good enough? i figurei can find them easier and cheaper than 450s.

390ccs should be enough for 8psi.

Actually, PSI does have some (not much, but its what he gave us to work with) meaning. Nobody is going to use a giant turbo to push only 8psi.

why is it that psi does not have much to do with injector size? i'm not being a smart *** i would like to know. psi would be caused by force expelled by the turbo and the restience of the intake track to consume that air right? so what would be the difference between a say t25 and a t66?

because a t25 and a 60-1 are not making the same amout of power at 8psi....so if one is making 220whp and the other is making 275whp---390 injectors mite be enough for one but not for the other....

450cc are not that hard to find.....and if you get 450cc you can always get a bigger turbo later...

u can use 92-95 jdm prelude injectors. 345cc alomost close but its a honda so it fits right in and you dont have to convert your saturated injectors to peah and hold type.

on a turbo that small you should be fine with your minime setup. Here are a few HP numbers to ive you an idea of how much power each injector will support. You can get more if you raise your fuel pressure slightly. But these numbers are based off of 43-45 PSI of fuel pressure.

345cc 200-220 HP
390cc 220-260 HP
450cc 260-310 HP
