is the type r intake manifold and ls intake manifold the same?

ok i was lookin at some picture of the type r engine bay and i noticed the intake manifold looks similar to the ls intake manifold, are they the same?

no it is not the same, it is similar but not the same.

stock LS

mod the LS or get a GSR or type R.

gsr definately wont, i doubt the type r will fit. just get a skunk 2 manifold. $250
