Default GSR: Vibrant 4-2-1 w/ omni testpipe.. Type R exhaust needed?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows if i'll need an exhaust made for a Type R to match up to an omnipower testpipe and Vibrant "J-Spec" 4-2-1 header on a 98 GSR?

thanks

Its all dependant on the flange. It the test pipe is 2.5 inches and the bolt holes aren't slotted then youd probably need a larger b-pipe or flange welded on yours.

oh, i'm sorry, i meant would i need an exhaust for a Type R application (length wise)? Not the actual Type R exhaust.. i realize a stock Type R flange would not match up to the 2.5" omni test pipe.

thanks
