Back from the scales EH3 style
A friend and I drove about 25miles outside of Louisville to a truck stop to get our cars weighed. I was shocked to see that my total was 2285 w/o driver. This was on a little less then 1/2 a tank of fuel and no back seats. Still had the spare and some light tools riding around.

Yeah I have always wondered about that. They can't be that accurate if they are used to weighing semis I would think but it is better than nothing so that is what I am going to be doing also when the time comes

nope,got me on that one.
i did the car on a cat scale 6 months ago. that said 2080. with less gas. that tells you how off they are. if anything they pad them heavy. that way if it is wrong,it is too high and not too low. then be overweight at a dot scale. they have pay court fees if a truck fails.
