Default Anyone else a little hesitant to order from Nippon Motors?

I was reading the FAQS on the site and I stumbled across this:

What kinds of accessories are included in the engines?

In general, the engine comes with an intake manifold, exhaust manifold, fuel injection, alternator, distributor, usually partial wire harnesses that are cut near the engine, oil pan, valve cover, pulleys, etc. We do not guarantee that the accessories will be included or that they work properly. Axles, motor mounts and shift linkage do not come with the engine.

"We do not guarantee that the accessories will be included or that they work properly". What the hell? So there not gonna send the intake/exhaust mani, distrib, alternator, and then just tell me to screw off? I'm not paying full price when I'm not guaranteed to get everything I am going to need. Has anyone else ordered an engine from Nippon or have any personal experiences with them?

HMO is good, but doesn't carry D16A6's. I was thinking of buying a SOHC ZC and swapping a Z6 head on in the future. Is this possible?

It's all circumstance.
I've ordered several B16 engines from Nippon and easily a dozen trannys. Never a big problem, typically stupid small stuff like a broken TPS or distributor cap. The one time I ordered a tranny from Hmotorsonline (because of all the hmotor fluffers here), they screwed me six ways from Sunday.

You are the only guy I have heard of having problems from HMO.
Which will happen but aside from him I have not heard one problem nor have I had any and I have been buying from steve at HMO since before he had HMO going and he has been nothing but great

Nippon on the other hand sent me junk the one time I used them and they didnt give a damn about anything

Thank you for the heads up! I was debating whether to order my engine swap from Nippon or HMO. I think I will go with HMO for sure now.

i know folks who have ordered from both, both satisfied.

these threads bad mouthing companies dont belong here.

my b16 was from hmotoronsonline, and the aletrnator was faulty, right off the bat.

but thats not anyones fault, so i dont blame them. i got then engine i wanted at a good price.

so enough with these stupids threads, they cant garuntee it because it is a used engine no matter how much they scrub the outside of it with soap.

Because it's easier to deal with a business if something is wrong with it (considering you buy from a reputable business).
